This image was taken at lacock Abbey, in wiltshire. It's the location of several key scenes in the Harry Potter films, doubling for Hogwarts.
Getting the exposure was tricky but I bracketed and got there in the end.
I love everything about this picture, the colors, the light, the sharpness, the angle, the feel of freshness and spring. It's great that the light shapes on the stone floor aren't over exposed !
I thought I could recognize the architecture somewhere! I really like the use of the wide angle lens, when used wisely it can really enhance architectural features... Nicely done, oh wise one!
Thanks, i did max the "recovery" slider in Lightroom though! But it's a single frame, no HDR or montage. Taken in Raw and extracted the best that i could.
Hehehe, it's pronounced "Lay-cock", I don;t know if that's better or worse!
Oh, dear..... that IS worse.... there are so many horrible puns available. I... I can't help myself....
Well, everyone's got to be part of the Body, right? Some are hands, some feet, some eyes... they just got the shaft. Oh, there I go again. The puns are inescapable.

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
