 Gosia Photos with a soul! XIXThis was taken very early at Lake Bled in Slovenia. If anyone wants to get married here....I'll shoot it for free! This is a timed exposure on a tripod with no filters. I first visited this place before the civil war and when I got the first chance to return, it was an offer that i couldn't refuse. The air is still and peacefull, the water is calm and untroubled. There's a cold snap to the place because it's located between the Italian and Austrian Alps. The only way to get to the church is by rowing boat and it takes about 15 mins to get across. During the day, the ligting is flat an uneventfull, but at sunrise or sunset, it's truely magical...the stuff of fairytales! Please view as a full size image, it's really worth it! When I first went to Slovenia, I could buy a nice run down 3 bed cottage by the lake for around £5K (ukp), now they are more expensive than a 5 bed in Swindon. Hitting about £350K, so yes I'm a little gutted!
