Artist's Comments

This image was taken whilst away for a weekend break in East Sussex. My wife and I went for a short walk in the early afternoon and very soon then sun was starting to set. Unfortunatly that's this time of year! The sun set's around 16:30 at the moment. I took a number of shots along the road that we stayed in and this is one of the stronger images.

Image taken with a Sigma 100-300mm f4 and a Canon 5D

What a great sky... this light underline the figure of the lonely tree, giving strength to the image. I really love this warm atmosphere...
